About ATAC

The Administration Technology Advisory Council (ATAC) acts on behalf of the administrative interests of the institution and represents units, departments, and divisions by effectively participating in campus-wide Information Technology (IT) governance and strategic decision-making. ATAC and its members work proactively with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), University Information Technology Services (UITS), and other IT units on campus to promote a transparent, collaborative, and successful university-wide IT environment. ATAC members assist their Unit Heads, Directors, and Vice Presidents in understanding institutional IT resources as they relate to advancing administrative and auxiliary needs. ATAC members actively investigate emerging IT technologies and issues in collaboration with the IT community on campus to deliver solutions that helps to achieve the goals of the university.
